College Readiness & Academic Preparedness - Student success in college begins with knowledge about the process, the academic preparation, and the transition to a new experience. In this session, students have the opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion and learn useful information in a fun and rewarding way.

Career Assessment - Career Services professionals help students explore areas of interest and associated careers & majors. The session takes place in a computer lab and utilizes a short assessment to guide conversations around majors, career paths, and career goals.

Innovation/Leadership: Introduction to a Systematic Approach to Creativity & How to Generate Innovative Ideas Anywhere - Did you know there is a step-by-step process for creating inventions? Learn how to make cool stuff that matters through the innovation process and put your entrepreneurial mindset to the test. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both of which are essential for academic and career success, to develop an exciting invention that is both meaningful and unique.

Disability & Access Resources - Participants will learn of the types of services/supports that may be available for students with documented diagnoses and the appropriate steps to formally request accommodations. A review of students’ rights and responsibilities and how they may differ at the college level will offer participants important tips and strategies as they prepare for their transition to college.
