The health and safety of our Penn College community is paramount. Taking steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 is a shared responsibility. These mitigation steps are rooted in current strategies and are subject to change and modification based on further instructions from local, state, and federal officials. All of this information will be routinely updated on our
COVID-19 website.
We ask that the following guidelines be observed when visiting Penn College’s campus:
General Precautions—washing hands, covering coughs and sneezes, avoiding touching face, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, and staying home if you are feeling sick.
Masks—masks are required to be worn when on campus, both indoors and outdoors.
Maintaining Social Distancing—avoid close contact (maintain distancing of at least 6 feet) with other individuals.
Traveling and quarantining — if you live or have traveled outside of Pennsylvania in the last 10 days, you must comply with travel guidance issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Screening – Upon arrival to campus, you will be asked a series of screening questions. If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you will be asked to reschedule your visit. Additionally, your temperature may be taken.
- Do you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher?
- Are you experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19? (most common symptoms include cough, temperature above 100.4, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell)
- Have you been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days, is awaiting a test result, or who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19?
- Do you live or have you traveled outside of Pennsylvania in the last 10 days?
- If yes, do you have a negative test result from within 72 hours prior to your entry/return to Pennsylvania? (Ideally, result is provided at time of visit)
