The health and safety of our Penn College community is paramount. Taking steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 is a shared responsibility. These mitigation steps are rooted in current strategies and are subject to change and modification based on further instructions from local, state, and federal officials. All of this information will be routinely updated on our COVID-19 website.

We ask that the following guidelines be observed when visiting Penn College’s campus:

General Precautions — Washing hands, covering coughs and sneezes, avoiding touching face, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, and staying home if you are feeling sick.

Masks — Masks are required to be worn when on campus, both indoors and outdoors. In alignment with CDC recommendations, visitors are encouraged to practice double masking by placing a fitted cloth mask over a surgical style mask. No bandanas or homemade/loose fitting masks are permitted. Masks should be fitted to the face and worn over both the mouth and nose.

Maintaining Social Distancing — Avoid close contact (maintain distancing of at least 6 feet) with other individuals.

Traveling — If you have traveled internationally, you are required to produce a negative test result no more than 72 hours prior to coming to campus.

Screening — Upon arrival to campus, you will be asked a series of screening questions. If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you will be asked to reschedule your visit. Additionally, your temperature may be taken.
  • Do you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher?
  • Are you experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19? (most common symptoms include cough, temperature above 100.4, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell)
  • Have you been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, is awaiting a test result, or who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19?
We appreciate your adherence to these guidelines which help promote the health and safety of our campus community.
